Summertime apparel inspired by the seashore: Atlanta Native Caroline Ann debuts collection of wearable art for Spring / Summer 2019 – Jalyn Buster

Sweet daydreams and seashore filled sands inspire fashion designer Caroline Ann who is most notably known for her Napkin dress, a gown constructed with over 1,200 Vanity Fair Napkins, 500 pearl beads and over 100 sticks of glue. Since then Caroline has shown various collections at New York Fashion Week and has been featured in both British Vogue and Forbes.

Caroline’s latest collection is designed to complement a variety of body types by incorporating ultra-relaxed silhouettes used to achieve clothing that is comfortable and flattering. The personality of her designs makes every day “an occasion worth dressing for” by injecting unique panels and bold bright colors to create whimsical movement in all of her signature pieces.

The passion behind Caroline’s elegant and non- restrictive clothing was displayed during her two – day trunk show at Tootsies an upscale boutique located in Buckhead. Upon entry, guests were greeted by models dressed in the intricate summer garments inspired by beach blues and sunset pinks. The Atlanta Fashion Bloggers had the pleasure of meeting Caroline Ann who described her luxury pieces as “resort wear with attitude”. She believes that all of her pieces exude fun and flirty girl attitude while offering flexibility in movement and design.
